Are you a First-Generation College Student?
A first-generation college student is either a student whose parent(s) or guardian did not complete a four-year degree, or a student who resided in a home up to the age of 18 where no adult figure received a four-year college degree. This does not include any siblings or other immediate family members that may reside in the home. Still unsure? Click below to find out more!
Who Are We?
The First-Gen Advisory Committee is comprised of faculty, staff, and students who are invested in continually improving the experience of First-Generation College Students at Truman. Many members of the committee themselves are First-Generation College Students, and all committee members are supportive of First-Gen Students at Truman.
